Cooperation Agreement with a Canadian Nursing Home

Tartu Health Care College has signed a cooperation agreement with Ehatare Retirement and Nursing Home in Toronto. Ehatare has been providing quality care services to Estonians in Canada for 40 years.

“The purpose of the agreement is to promote healthcare education and share best practices,” explained Krista Staškevitš, the coordinator of international mobility at Tartu Health Care College. “This opens up a new opportunity for the college’s students to gain international practical experience, but it’s equally important for us to maintain connections between communities.”

The first students from the nursing curriculum will begin their practical training at Ehatare in early May. The mobility is supported by the Erasmus+ program and the Estonian Relief Committee in Canada.
