Masseur/ Masseuse
The aim of the curriculum is to educate and train professional masseurs. The masseur is a health care specialist who provides clients with professional massage services to restore their physical and mental abilities, prevent health problems, promote the immune system and facilitate their overall wellbeing.
Additionally masseurs also prepare their workstation, establish a trustful contact with their client and take client’s history following the principles of professional ethics in the process. The masseur also advises their clients and if necessary recommends seeking medical attention.
Graduates can work in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, spas or as private entrepreneurs.

Standard period of study: 2 years
Language of instruction: Estonian
The curriculum consists of four basic modules:
- basics of massage therapy
- massage therapy specialties
- career planning and entrepreneurship
- practical training in the working environment
