ERASMUS+ foreign exchanges
Tartu Health College has participated in the ERASMUS program since the academic year of 2004/2005. In total, we have sent more than 200 students on foreign exchange during twelve academic years. From the 2014/2015 it is possible to go on an exchange abroad twice during the academic year: 2-12 months in practice and 3-12 months studying.
It is also possible to apply for a recent graduate scholarship, which means that within 12 months after leaving school, you have the right to do an internship or study in your chosen field of specialization. The conditions for the duration of the internship are the same as for currently studying students who apply for a scholarship.
Most of our university students use the opportunities of the program to complete an internship. Before the beginning of the internship, it is also possible to participate in Erasmus online language courses to learn the local language of the destination country. At the moment, Tartu Health Care College has about 70 partner universities across Europe as part of the Erasmus program.
Tartu Health Care College renewed the Erasmus+ higher education charter and the new period is 2021-2027.
