Abstract guidelines
All abstracts must be sent in WORD format to conference@nooruse.ee. Abstracts received after 17.01.2021 at 18:00 GMT+2 will not be accepted.
By submitting the abstract you confirm:
· all accepted abstracts will be published in an electronic Conference Abstract Book;
· if the abstract is accepted, you will attend the conference;
· that all co-authors have agreed to be listed on the abstract;
· that you are responsible for any spelling, grammatical and typographical errors.
Abstracts may be original work or literature review.
- All abstracts must be in English (<350 words; title and author details not included in word count).
- Abstracts must be sent: conference@nooruse.ee.
- Please use theabstract form!
- All abstracts are peer reviewed and scored by the Abstract Review Committee.
- Abstract Review Committee reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts.
- Authors can choose their presentation preference „oral” or „e-poster”.
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts that an individual may submit.
- Please do not include (a list of) references in the body or at the end of your abstract.
- All abstracts will be published in an electronic Conference Abstract Book.
Evaluation criteria for abstracts:
Abstracts are evaluated by experts (Abstract Review Committee). Maximum score is 25 points:
- Importance and originality (1-5 points)
- Methods (1-5 points)
- Results (1-5 points)
- Conclusions (1-5 points)
- Appropriate use of language and terminology, logical sequence and cohesiveness among all abstract sections (1-5 points)
Types of Presentation
1. ORAL PRESENTATION
- A 15 minute spoken presentation, including question and answer time (5 min).
- Presenter shows the research and findings of their accepted abstract in a PowerPoint presentation. A proprer PowerPoint template could be downloaded here soon.
- PowerPoint presentation should be sent to organizers (conference@nooruse.ee) at latest 15 April 2021.
- In 10 minutes we prefer from 8-10 slides.
- The presenter is responsible for obtaining all of the conflict-of interest disclosure.
2. E-POSTER PRESENTATION
- Oral E-poster session is a 5 minute spoken presentation, including question and answer time (2 min).
- E-poster presentation (PowerPoint) should be sent to organizers (conference@nooruse.ee) at latest 15 April 2021. A proprer PowerPoint template could be downloaded here soon.
- The presenter is responsible for obtaining all of the conflict-of interest disclosure.
- All e-Posters will be shown on the screen by data projector, so there is no need to bring a paper poster!
