Abstract guidelines

All abstracts must be sent in WORD format to conference@nooruse.ee. Abstracts received after 17.01.2021 at 18:00 GMT+2 will not be accepted.

By submitting the abstract you confirm:
·      all accepted abstracts will be published in an electronic Conference Abstract Book;
·      if the abstract is accepted, you will attend the conference;
·      that all co-authors have agreed to be listed on the abstract;
·      that you are responsible for any spelling, grammatical and typographical errors.

 Abstracts may be original work or literature review.

  • All abstracts must be in English (<350 words; title and author details not included in word count).
  • Abstracts must be sent: conference@nooruse.ee.
  • Please use theabstract form!
  • All abstracts are peer reviewed and scored by the Abstract Review Committee.
  • Abstract Review Committee reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts.
  • Authors can choose their presentation preference „oral” or „e-poster”.
  • There is no limit to the number of abstracts that an individual may submit.
  • Please do not include (a list of) references in the body or at the end of your abstract.
  • All abstracts will be published in an electronic Conference Abstract Book.

Evaluation criteria for abstracts:
Abstracts are evaluated by experts (Abstract Review Committee). Maximum score is 25 points:

  • Importance and originality (1-5 points)
  • Methods (1-5 points)
  • Results (1-5 points)
  • Conclusions (1-5 points)
  • Appropriate use of language and terminology,  logical sequence and cohesiveness among all abstract sections  (1-5 points)

Types of Presentation

1.     ORAL PRESENTATION

  • A 15 minute spoken presentation, including question and answer time (5 min).
  • Presenter shows the research and findings of their accepted abstract in a PowerPoint presentation. A proprer PowerPoint template could be downloaded here soon.
  • PowerPoint presentation should be sent to organizers (conference@nooruse.ee) at latest 15 April 2021.
  • In 10 minutes we prefer from 8-10 slides.
  • The presenter is responsible for obtaining all of the conflict-of interest disclosure.

2.     E-POSTER PRESENTATION

  • Oral E-poster session is a 5 minute spoken presentation, including question and answer time (2 min).
  • E-poster presentation (PowerPoint) should be sent to organizers (conference@nooruse.ee) at latest 15 April 2021. A proprer PowerPoint template could be downloaded here soon.
  • The presenter is responsible for obtaining all of the conflict-of interest disclosure.
  • All e-Posters will be shown on the screen by data projector, so there is no need to bring a paper poster!
