Abstract guidelines

All abstracts must be sent in WORD format to conference@nooruse.ee. Abstracts received after 17.01.2021 at 18:00 GMT+2 will not be accepted.

By submitting the abstract you confirm:
·      all accepted abstracts will be published in an electronic Conference Abstract Book;
·      if the abstract is accepted, you will attend the conference;
·      that all co-authors have agreed to be listed on the abstract;
·      that you are responsible for any spelling, grammatical and typographical errors.

Abstracts may be original work or literature review.

All abstracts must be in English (<350 words; title and author details not included in word count).
Abstracts must be sent: conference@nooruse.ee.
Please use theabstract form!
All abstracts are peer reviewed and scored by the Abstract Review Committee.
Abstract Review Committee reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts.
Authors can choose their presentation preference „oral” or „e-poster”.
There is no limit to the number of abstracts that an individual may submit.
Please do not include (a list of) references in the body or at the end of your abstract.
All abstracts will be published in an electronic Conference Abstract Book.

Evaluation criteria for abstracts:
Abstracts are evaluated by experts (Abstract Review Committee). Maximum score is 25 points:

Importance and originality (1-5 points)
Methods (1-5 points)
Results (1-5 points)
Conclusions (1-5 points)
Appropriate use of language and terminology, logical sequence and cohesiveness among all abstract sections (1-5 points)

Types of Presentation

1. ORAL PRESENTATION

A 15 minute spoken presentation, including question and answer time (5 min).
Presenter shows the research and findings of their accepted abstract in a PowerPoint presentation. A proprer PowerPoint template could be downloaded here soon.
PowerPoint presentation should be sent to organizers (conference@nooruse.ee) at latest 15 April 2021.
In 10 minutes we prefer from 8-10 slides.
The presenter is responsible for obtaining all of the conflict-of interest disclosure.

2. E-POSTER PRESENTATION

Oral E-poster session is a 5 minute spoken presentation, including question and answer time (2 min).
E-poster presentation (PowerPoint) should be sent to organizers (conference@nooruse.ee) at latest 15 April 2021. A proprer PowerPoint template could be downloaded here soon.
The presenter is responsible for obtaining all of the conflict-of interest disclosure.
All e-Posters will be shown on the screen by data projector, so there is no need to bring a paper poster!
